Venison is a novel protein, meaning most dogs have never been exposed to it, so there is no established sensitivity. Single ingredient plus seaweed; nothing else to react to.
Ascophyllum nodosum is a cold-water kelp used in dental supplements. Here it adds trace minerals and iodine. It is not a substitute for a vet dental clean.
They are properly crunchy. For senior or tiny teeth, snap a patty into pieces or soften it with warm water for thirty seconds. Always supervise.

Feeding Guidelines
Half a patty a day for small dogs, one for medium, up to two for large; break them up for training or snap them smaller for senior teeth. Treats should stay under 10% of her daily food, so cut back her dinner accordingly, keep fresh water down, and supervise every chew.
