At Laila and Me we love connecting and collaborating with only the best of the best and those who share the same values and beliefs when it comes to animals and ensuring that they are not only eating well balanced diets but their owners are also being educated on how to feed them. This is why we have worked with Clare for 7 years.
Bio Clare Kearney is a pet nutritionist and writer from the Northern Rivers in NSW. She has consulted with pet owners and small businesses through her business HUNDE, since 2015, and is a co-owner of the whacky meal topper start-up, NORM.
Clare studied communications and publishing at the University of Melbourne and has trained in small animal nutrition at the Holistic Animal Therapy Organisation and the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies. Clare's primary focus is in providing accessible, empathetic education for pet owners of all levels of experience to understand the benefit and practicalities of feeding a whole food diet to their pets.
Clare and Mel have worked together for seven years – Mel was one of Clare’s first clients! They have grown their businesses together, learning and supporting one another, and forging a strong friendship and trust in the process.
Their approach to pet food (and life) is closely aligned, both valuing honest, transparent and down to earth products that are genuinely good for your pets. Clare has been an unofficial ambassador and huge fan of of Laila and Me for many years and looks forward to the “box of horrors” Mel routinely sends her kelpies, Pip and Tex (cow faces and duck heads are their faves!).
