How to make a Doggolatte Affogato - Laila and Me

Affogato for Dogs made with Banana and Peanut Butter

Does your pet have a taste for something a little sweet but healthy? Try this Affogato recipe that won't only take you less than 30 minutes to make but will have your pet coming back for more!

Lets get started with the ingredients you'll need:

Banana & Peanut Butter Ice Cream

  • 1 banana (chopped and frozen)
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp natural greek yoghurt or kefir
  • ½ tsp chia seeds

Espresso Shot

  • ½ tbsp Laila and Me Doggolatte Mix
  • 80ml (⅓ cup) warm water

Directions

  1. In a food processor, add frozen chopped banana, peanut butter, yoghurt or kefir and chia seeds. Blend until smooth and mixture resembles soft serve ice cream.
  2. Pour mixture into a sealed container and freeze for an hour or until firm enough to scoop.
  3. To make the espresso shot, add the Doggolatte Mix and water into a jar or shaker. Shake well until combined and frothy.
  4. Once all the elements are ready, add Laila and Me Freeze Dried Raw Treats into a glass or your dog’s bowl.
  5. Scoop in the ice cream and pour the espresso shot over the ice cream.
  6. Sprinkle with Laila and Me Lamb Topper, or your dog’s favourite meal topper.
  7. Ready to serve.

Only an occasional treat and should not replace meals but be incorporated into your dog’s calorie intake for the day. Portion and feed treat according to your dog’s size and weight.
